Important: This orientation is not designed for Webcourses@UCF. The student orientation for Webcourses@UCF is located inside your course.
In conjunction with the Learning Online Web site, Course Development and Web Services gives you the "Online Course Orientation" for WebCT CE 4. This interactive, multimedia application provides students with information about taking online classes, as well as, tutorials on how to use WebCT.
The
Online Course Orientation requires the latest version of Macromedia Flash
Player. If you do not have this plug-in on your computer, you will need to
download the player.
The Orientation is set up to allow you to interact with the content.
Follow the prompts to access the different sections of the Orientation. You may choose to complete the Orientation by proceeding from one section to the next OR you can return at anytime to review any section or tutorial at your convenience.
If you are required to complete the Orientation quiz, review the different sections of the Orientation and then proceed to the "Test Yourself" area. You must fill in all of the fields in order for the quiz results to be sent to your faculty member.
To begin, select the screen image below to launch the orientation in a new browser window.
If at anytime, you experience difficulty with the Orientation, try closing the window and coming back in again.
This program will not work properly if you are using pop-up blocking software. You will either need to turn it off or change the settings.
