Student Perception of Instruction Evaluation
What is it?
The Student Perception of Instruction survey is your opportunity to evaluate the teaching effectiveness of your course. Since you are taking an online course, this evaluation is provided in an online format for you. The evaluation is exactly the same as the forms completed in face-to-face courses.
When is it available?
According to academic standards, the Student Perception of Instruction survey is completed during the last two weeks of every term. Evaluations for online courses follow the same time table. The only difference is the evaluation survey is open for completion during the entire two week period to accommodate online students.
Please note:
- Once you start the survey, you must complete the form. You cannot close it and return later.
- Once you submit the form, you will no longer have access to the evaluation survey for your course.
Passwords
To access the form, you will need to use your NID and password.
-
NID: Your NID, or Network ID, is composed of the first two letters of your first name and a six-digit number. If your first name has only one character, the character is duplicated to create the two letters for your NID. The six-digit number is randomly generated. If you work at UCF, your NID may be different from the default format. Get your NID.
- Format: ffnnnnnn
- Example: Joe Q. Student, his NID would be jq598372
-
Initial Password: The initial password associated with your NID begins with a capital P and then the year, month and day of your birth. Student passwords are reset to the initial password at the beginning of every term. It is HIGHLY recommended that you change your password after your initial login.
- Format: Pyymmdd
- Example: Born 04-16-80, his initial password would be P800416
Forget your password?
If you forget your password or need it reset, you must go to the Help Desk in CCI or Computer Lab in CCII to have your password reset. If you attend an area campus, go to the UCF lab at that campus. You must provide a picture ID before the password will be reset.
Also, you may call or e-mail the Help Desk to have your password reset.
