Overview

The Library web page is your starting point for online research with its links to the Library Catalog and hundreds of electronic journals and databases containing full-text articles. You can also find information online to help you with your research such as Ask A Librarian, citation guides, services for distance learners, off-campus access instructions, and a list of important library services like Online Renewal and Interlibrary Loan.

Electronic Resources

• UCF Library Catalog
  The online catalog allows you to search for books, journal titles, government documents, videos, and other materials owned by the UCF Libraries. The UCF Library catalog can be accessed by anyone with an Internet connection, no ID or password needed.
• Journal Articles & Databases
  These online collections provide access to citations, abstracts and many full-text periodical articles. Most of these resources are restricted to UCF users only (see remote access information below).
• Online Journals
  This searchable list of the library's online subscriptions is a quick way to determine if a journal, magazine, or newspaper is available in one of the library’s full-text databases.
• Remote Access
  Many of these resources require you to use a log in if you are not on campus. You must be currently enrolled at UCF and have an activated library ID number to log in.

• Interlibrary Loan
  Use online forms to request books and articles that UCF does not own.

  Use this online system to see what items you have checked out and renew books.

  Provides more information on various services.
• Library Services for Distance Learners
  Provides resources and information specifically for students who are enrolled in UCF courses but do not attend classes on any UCF campus.
